Are you conducting research in the life sciences, and have you made a groundbreaking scientific discovery with potential applications in the health sector? Perhaps a patent has already been filed based on it? Or you have already founded a life science startup, but are still at the very beginning of your journey
You would now like to know what the entire translational und regulatory process looks like, from the research result to a possible use on patients in the clinic. To give you an overview of this and get answers to your questions from and contact to various experts, the “Virtual Life Science Accelerator: Founding a life science start-up - From research to clinic” will start at the beginning of January 2026. This will be run by the Innovation and Start-up Center (IGZ) Würzburg in cooperation with the Tech Transfer Office SFT of the University of Würzburg.
The Virtual Life Science Accelerator program comprises eight modules of 90 minutes each (70 minutes lecture & 20 minutes for questions and answers), with experts in the field as speakers, and will take place on Thursdays from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM starting 15.01.2026:
